When thinking about vehicles for work, there’s a reason why we pay so much attention to Texas. Texas is “Truck Country” and Texas workers, from rugged ranchers to the behind-the-desk-types, put their trucks through some of the most challenging day-to-day conditions possible. So we figured that what works in Texas has a pretty good chance of working everywhere else.
That’s why we took to the Texas State Fair yesterday to reveal some of our most important vehicles, vehicles that plainly get the job done, in the state of Texas and across the country. The new 2013 Ram 2500 and 3500 Heavy Duty pickups and 3500, 4500, and 5500 Chassis Cab work trucks made their big-time public debuts, and we couldn’t be more excited for hardworking small business owners to get behind the wheel of these incredibly capable new trucks and put it to the test.
Fred Diaz, President and CEO, Ram Truck Brand and Chrysler de Mexico, was on hand to introduce the new trucks, ushering in a new era of capability for the Ram Truck brand. The big theme? These new Ram Trucks are designed to improve cost of ownership and efficiency and, on top of that, the Chassis Cab models will simplify upfitting.
We’ll have more on this new era of Ram capability in the future, but for now, watch the recorded live stream of the Texas-sized (sorry, we couldn’t resist) reveal at the Texas State Fair, and read extensive breakdowns of the best-in-class and exclusive features in the 2013 Ram 2500 and 3500 Heavy Duty pickups and the 2013 Ram 3500, 4500, and 5500 Chassis Cab work trucks.
