This week’s video offers a closer look at the Pacifica Hybrid’s advanced hybrid technology and examines how the system works in conjunction with other vehicle features, like the “efficiency coach” included with driver information display.
From the video: “The Pacifica Hybrid, the industry’s first electrified minivan, makes use of two electric motors, one small and one large. During electric-only operation, and thanks to the innovative eFlite Electronically Variable Transmission and a one-way clutch, both motors work together to power the front wheels. In hybrid mode, the 3.6L Pentastar® V6 engine works in conjunction with the two electric motors to power the wheels and recharge the battery pack.” For more information, please watch the video below.
