The awards and accolades are piling up fast for the Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid. The minivan’s two most recent accolades came during the Northwest Automotive Press Association’s (NWAPA) 2018 Drive Revolution green vehicle competition, where the 2018 Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid was named the Northwest Green Vehicle of the Year and, for the second year in a row, the Northwest Family-Sized Plug-in Hybrid of the Year.
NWAPA members gathered at the Fort Vancouver National Historic Site to drive 19 vehicles, including battery-electric vehicles, plug-in hybrids and full hybrids. After a full day of testing through the streets of Vancouver, Washington, NWAPA journalists named the 2018 Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid as the Northwest Green Vehicle of the Year. The Pacifica Hybrid, which also won the award as the Northwest Family-Sized Plug-in Hybrid of the Year by a landslide, was named the overall winner for its combination of fuel efficiency1, ample cabin space, user-friendly amenities and value.
Since creating the minivan 35 years ago, FCA US LLC has strived continuously to update the segment with ever-increasing levels of functionality, versatility, technology and styling. The Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid is an especially revolutionary step forward thanks to its innovative plug-in hybrid powertrain. In addition to achieving 84 MPGe1 and all all-electric range of 33 miles2, it boasts a total range of up to 566 miles3. With more than 100 standard and available safety and security features and a full array of comfort and convenience technologies, the Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid minivan is a no-compromise vehicle ideally suited for today’s families and the mom-and-pop small businesses many families run.
