2014 Ram ProMaster: 13 Different Chassis Configurations

Share Post

Your business isn’t a one-trick pony. Your work vehicle shouldn’t be either.

We’ve already introduced to you the 2014 Ram ProMaster’s best-in-class cargo capacity and fuel efficient EcoDiesel powertrain. Now, say hello to ProMaster’s versatile chassis configurations, 13 in all.

The ProMaster is available in two roof heights, three wheelbases and four body lengths, with a chassis cab and cutaway offered straight from the factory floor. Thanks to its unibody frame architecture, the ProMaster is lighter than the competition while boasting a best-in-class payload capacity of up to 5,145 points and a maximum towing capacity up to 5,100.

The unibody structure gives the ProMaster stability and strength from front to rear and a reinforced plenum area for optimized engine packaging. When compared to the more common body-on-frame application, the unibody structure allows for a truer tuning of chassis systems and related hardware.

The ProMaster’s segment exclusive front-wheel drive system, coupled with the unibody structure and multiple configurations, allow it to be upfitted for almost any job.
